this trio from San Antonio, Texas draws inspiration from beachy-slacker rock and fuzzy garage bands mixed with indie punk and alternative influences. their sense of youthful escapism is captured by guitar and vocal melodies that create an undeniably nostalgic sound.

lyrical themes include the chaos of heartbreak, being broke, and crazy nights spent with friends you can’t remember. 

in their first wave of song-writing, the laid-back trio blends hints of grittiness, introspection, and lovesickness to create music with a vibe that brings back vivid memories. honeydro’s songs are packed with stories of real-life situations that they’ve been through— an unhealthy relationship “Dog”, being too high to function in public “Disco”, not being able to pay the rent “Chump”, and the rude awakening when you forget to use that SPF at the beach, “Sunburn”.
